I never had to prove myself to you. I never questioned if you meant the things you said. And I never doubted it was real. Even though you're gone, I still don't. It's a sad thing in life that you usually don't know how authentic something is, or isn't, until it's gone, done, and over. I knew, and I still know. I hate that we said goodbye.
